It was the last day of class. There was improv in the small room, followed by scene study in the larger of the four on the third floor. She walked in, wearing dusty rose-colored dress and burgundy leather boots with a heel.

“Alright,” said the improv instructor. “I just so happen to have a top hat, so let’s line these chairs up in a row.”

“Take a seat.”
They each took a seat, in no particular order (the seat closest to where they were standing)

“I like your shoes,” he said to her.
“Thank you,” said Summer, sitting in the chair next to him.
